Dear Intercessors,

Last month we saw a ministry milestone as we met in Lanham, MD for a week of training.  Three potential consultants spent five days learning about improving the health of local churches. 

Dr. Ken Quick did an awesome job presenting the material and it was deeply satisfying to see the students engaged in the topic.  We’re praying that God will raise an army of facilitators and consultants to impact the life of the Church in this country and beyond.  This was the first step toward that end and your prayers helped create an atmosphere where learning took root at a deep level.

Now we have a special request for you to pray about this month.  One of the denominations with which we work is publishing two articles related to Blessing Point Ministries in July.  One article is written by Norm Davis, the interim pastor of Reidsville Alliance Church in Reidsville, NC.  In the article he outlines the healing process the church experienced along with its former pastors.  One of those pastors was so wounded by the church that he left the ministry.  As a result of the Healing the Heart of Your Church process he is now considering a return to the ministry.  How blessed is that?

The other article is written by Mark Barnard and is titled “Blessable Conflict.”  It draws parallels from the book of Acts between handling church conflict in a godly way and God’s blessing on a church’s ministry.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance with which the magazine is affiliated has about 2000 churches in the U.S. and many more overseas.  Pray that God would use this to open doors to minister in hurting churches.  We are all eager to see what God will do through the articles.
